As a User Experience Design Intern at Virtualitics, you will join a group of talented designers and developers creating and maintaining a suite of cutting-edge AI-driven data visualization, collaboration, and machine learning analytics tools for Enterprise & Government clients. Ideal candidates will have a solid portfolio demonstrating design principles for interface of software/web.

Internship Responsibilities

• Generate UX wireframes/workflows for our immersive desktop platform in Figma
• Assist developers and designers working in Unity
• Work closely with other teams including engineers, data scientists, game developers and designers to obtain in depth understanding of product development requirements

Skills/Experiences

Required:

• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after completion of the internship.
• Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction, computer science, or related field
• Solid Portfolio demonstrating design principles for interface of software/web
• Proficiency with at least one of the workflow/wireframe creation tools
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Big Bonus:

• Currently pursuing a MS degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction, computer science, or related field
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, After Effects, Quartz Composer, Framer Studio, etc.) and familiarity with front- end engineering and/ or working with engineers.
• Experience with Unity3D (preferred), Unreal or any other game engines.
• Marketing, social media, and video creation experience is a bonus
• Available to work on site (Pasadena, CA).
