Are you an outstanding, passionate creative ready to jumpstart your career at an exciting, leading-edge, tech company?

As a Marketing Intern at New Relic, you'll join us for a full-time, paid 12 week summer internship beginning in either May or June 2022! You'll work on real-world projects that will make an impact on our business, and develop practical skills to apply throughout your career. Over the summer, we'll have the opportunity for you to:

  • Attend chats with current employees to learn more about their roles, receive advice, and begin to build your network
  • Work with a dedicated mentor through our formalized and flexible mentorship program
  • Gain useful skills through professional development trainings and informative feedback
  • Connect with the intern community through meetings, projects, and social events
  • Learn about the company and our vision to instrument, measure and improve software
  • Showcase your work via a final presentation to management

What You'll Do

You will work with one or more teams to develop material in support of marketing and communications projects, ranging from process improvements, qualitative research, technical product marketing, solving real problems and drafting results in both print and digital format across multiple platforms.

The work you'll do will allow for collaboration with like-minded creatives with a talent and love for telling stories about New Relic.
Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Bachelor's program, and will be a rising senior graduating between December 2022 - June 2023
  • Strong communication, with an emphasis on written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize time sensitive tasks, with strong emphasis on quality and client service
  • Desire to learn both skills and processes from a bold team that builds upon its diversity


Nice-to-have:

  • Degree focused in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • For creative marketing teams: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and a portfolio
  • For technical marketing teams: writing experience, background in computer science or programming
