Fall 2022 UI Software Engineering Internsip

The Software Engineering intern contributes within the software development team to learn and aid with development, test, support of Toshiba's Big data analytics platform and build solutions in the retail marketplace, collaborating within the agile development team in a fast-paced, customer-first environment. These solutions include Data Platform and Data Lake Management, Customer analytics and big data analytics insights Many technologies are used, including SaaS (Software as a Service), Azure ADF, Data bricks, Data Lake, cloud computing, enterprise, and desktop Java development.

Skills:

• Currently pursuing Computer Science/Engineering major in Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies.
• User Interface, web/webpage development skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Programming and analytical skills, problem determination and debugging, attention to detail, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Preferred Skills:

• Participation in agile SDLC; usage of agile project management tools
• Ability to use code versioning tools like Git, SVN, etc.
• Modern web development experience, including application of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and various JS frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.JS.
