About Digital First
Drift is a Digital First company, which means Remote is the primary experience for all employees. For the majority of our positions, your location is flexible! If “Remote” is stated in the job location, that role can be located anywhere Drift is authorized to do business in the United States. This role can be located remotely.
About the Role
Drift is looking for an intern to join our Learning & Development team to support the Marketing Content, Community and Learning team. At Drift, the L&D team reports through the Marketing organization and this a very intentional team structure to ensure that learning and enablement for Drifters, Partners and Customers is a frictionless and equitable experience. We are looking for a curious learner, who enjoys hands-on learning opportunities, an eagerness to jump right in and is motivated and undaunted by complex problems.
What You Will be Doing in the Role
- Help coordinate the set up of new hires within our employee systems, so that new employees are ready Day 1.
- Communicate with new hires (pre-Day 1) and hiring managers about the Drift Orientation Program.
- Schedule and confirm guest speakers for the week-long Drift Orientation program.
- Manage all weekly communications for the New Manager Success Program.
- Develop and execute adoption campaigns for all internal training and enablement programs (ex. Monthly Career Lunch & Learns, Product Training, new certifications, etc.)
- Assist in driving adoption of customer training content through communication campaigns to the go-to-market teams.
Within One Month, You’ll
- Complete the Drift orientation program and be certified on Conversational Sales & Marketing.
- Have a strong understanding of Drift- culture, product and our competitive advantage.
- Assist in coordinating and executing the operational tasks for the Drift Orientation Program and the New Manager Success Program.
- Pull weekly reports on learning programs and complete the team weekly reporting pacing tables.
- Meet and conduct information interviews with many of the Content, Community and Learning team members to start building your own network.
- Learn how to create and execute an adoption campaign.
Within Three- Five Months, You’ll
- Own and be able to independently execute the operational tasks for the Drift Orientation Program and the New Manager Success Program.
- Continue to broaden your network and meet other Drift Marketing, Product, Sales and Customer Team professionals.
- Ship 4-5 adoption campaigns for content created by the Content, Community and Learning team.
- Contribute to the weekly employee newsletter (Learning Section).
- Assist in the development of Drift Career Stories (videos, blog & social media postings).

- Strong understanding of the various functions and career paths within the Marketing and Learning & Development functions.
- Build a network of contacts for future mentorship and possible employment opportunities.
- Gain writing, presentation and content development skills.
- Work on organizational, planning and operational skills.
- Learn more about adult learning theory and how best to train and develop employees and customers.
