Support Services - Technical Support Intern
CSC Corptax has an exciting internship opportunity as a Technical Support Intern. This position is based in our award-winning Dallas-Fort Worth office or can be remote for highly qualified applicants. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to install and troubleshoot our tax ERP software-used by the largest multinational corporations, national accounting firms, and consultants for their full tax life cycle needs. At Corptax, our solutions help companies redefine the way tax departments operate. From provision to compliance to planning, we offer the tools that tax departments need.
At Corptax, we view the internship program as one that benefits both of us. Corptax provides interns with valuable training on how to install and troubleshoot our Microsoft based application that is hosted in our data centers as well as installations at our customer locations. This opportunity will expose you to desktop application installations and server-based configurations while also providing a insights to the most cutting-edge Microsoft products, such as Azure cloud-based technologies. Corptax interns receive support skill training, providing them with improved customer relationship skills. In turn, Corptax interns provide us with an additional support resource during peak filing periods and serve as valued team members. As a dual benefit, our interns may have an opportunity to become a full-time member of the Corptax organization or will leave as a trained user entering the workforce with skills valued by our customers.
Role summary
As a part of our Support Services Team, you'll gain exposure to our corporate tax software products and internal tools, begin to understand the technology architecture from an installation/troubleshooting perspective and assist customers in accessing these products. Additional responsibilities will include reviewing and updating documentation for both customer-facing materials and internal knowledge base resources, working cross-functionally with our technology teams as needed, and other tasks as related to departmental needs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience with technology tools/support such as formal classroom training, technology certifications or verifiable real-world experience
- Strong, positive attitude and work ethic that helps elevate an already world-class team
- Ability to work independently when given overall direction
- Creative thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Desire and ability to learn new concepts and tools to solve problems
- Good communication and listening skills
