Talent Management Internship
About the job
The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for a Talent Management Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support, promote, and assess the effectiveness of critical programs across Red Hat's talent development and assessment portfolio, including onboarding, mentoring, engagement, and performance management. You will work directly with every member of the team and will conduct activities that will enable the day-to-day operations and long-term goals of a fast-paced, customer-focused, and high-growth team. As a Talent Management Intern, you'll need to be highly collaborative and interested in learning about all aspects of talent management. You'll also need to be able to help sustain go-to-market efforts past a successful launch by partnering across all HR team functions to ensure overall process governance, alignment, and impact. This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC. You will report directly to the manager of assessment and development programs within the Talent Center of Excellence (CoE).
What you will do
- Facilitate and manage meetings including content planning, logistics, and facilitation
- Coordinate projects for innovative and creative new efforts
- Partner with HR team stakeholders to understand feedback, trends, and opportunities for improvement to continuously enhance the overall quality of programs
- Conduct research on the HR industry and technology trends to inform talent program offerings
- Build and maintain documentation, user guides, and tools to support internal program offerings
- Work with key members of the team to deploy strategies that will enable the day-to-day operations and long-term goals of a fast-paced, customer-focused, and high-growth team
What you will bring
- Pursuing an HR or business management undergraduate degree (or related coursework)
- Proficient in presentation, spreadsheet, and other general business software; ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle many competing priorities and deadlines
