Internship Program Details:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Summer Intern Program is a paid internship that is open to undergraduate, graduate and PHD students. It begins in June and continues for 12 consecutive weeks. Interns work 40 hours per week and are assigned to one department.
Typical Day:
Project oriented hands-on assignments and professional development activities including a volunteer project. Interns receive a solid overview of the Fed while contributing to their designated Bank department.

Job Description:
The Wholesale Credit Risk Center manages a variety of public, licensed, and regulatory data sets that are used in quantitative surveillance, stress testing, and research throughout the Federal Reserve System.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the business unit to monitor and evaluate data quality of current or proposed datasets. Assist data users with various needs that include finding information, writing queries, or creating metadata. Create user guides and other helpful documentation. Add value to users by working with IT to surface data in more easily digestible formats. Collaborate with various teams in WCRC on analytical and model monitoring projects.
Job Requirements:
Graduate student in Library or Information Science preferred. Some programming skills are a must, SQL and Python preferred. Experience or coursework with data curation is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently.
