Role Summary

This position entails a hands-on learning experience in the Global Marketing department as a summer intern from May to August of 2022. Provides market intelligence support to Magna's Marketing Seating Team in pursuit of new business and market trends.

Key Responsibilities
• Support market share data creation and research, executive summaries, regional requests, commodity studies and special requests for Business Development• Support in the market research deliverables on competitive intelligence requests by performing research via the web and news related to that supplier. • Responsible for daily Seating Industry news search and posting to SharePoint• Support M&A and R&D research activities, intelligence gathering and Executive Summary creation. • Lead for Wards Day Supply Reports on monthly basis• Support Forecast Production Volumes and Sales Volumes on monthly basis posting to SharePoint, or as requested• Lead for Magna Volumes posting to SharePoint• Lead for Competitor and OEM bio's • Request, research and organize various corporate data information which feeds across both sales & marketing assets & presentations. • Assist with SharePoint uploads and organization• Assist with various Marketing tasks, as required. • Supports Internal / External Audit efforts regarding ISO 9001, IATF 16949 Certification for remote site location (Group Office).

Key Qualifications/Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Completion of at least 1-year of college, currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Sales preferred.

Additional Information

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI database applications• Excellent verbal/written communication skills to establish effective relationships with internal and external customers. • Must be proactive, supportive, creative, respectful, resourceful, and organized with excellent analytical skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
