Job Overview

To drive growth and the future ability of AvidXchange to continue to be a leader in Accounts Payable & Payment Automation we are looking for Software Engineering and Application Developmentinterns for summer 2022. You will work with diverse, smart, and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will be challenged to grow, excel, and lead alongside the brightest talent in the industry and be rewarded for your achievements. Internships are offered in several different areas including analytics, sales, process improvement, customer support, etc.

Core development focus areas:
1. Software Engineering & Application Development
2. Automation Engineering
3. Platform Engineering
4. Site Reliability Engineering
5. DevOps Engineering

Duties and responsibilities

  • Interns will be allocated time each week to collect as a team and discuss experiences, ideas and learnings
  • Thrive in a team-based atmosphere where the workload is distributed across the team but where success is dependent on each other
  • Be motivated by a fast paced, high volume deadline driven environment
  • At the end of the internship, interns will be responsible for collecting their best suggestions, and presenting conceptual solutions for automation and innovating how we are working with the team to business leaders and executives

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, facilitation, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proactive, accountable, autonomous and solutions oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Docs
  • Outside the box thinking skills preferred

Required Education

  • All interns must have completed at least two years toward an undergraduate degree
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required, major or cumulative
  • All majors are welcome to apply,Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology and Information Systemspreferred
