Solutions Engineering Operations Analyst Intern

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Analyst intern to join our WW Solutions Engineering Operations (WW SE Ops) team within HashiCorp. The WW SE Ops function is a small “SWAT” team focused on high priority strategic projects/programs for the SE leadership team that impact the global SE organization and the broader company as a whole.
This team will be a substantial contributor to the overall efficiency and productivity of the HashiCorp technical sales force and will ultimately contribute to top-line revenue growth and cost/risk reduction across the org. This function will seek to bring diverse sets of individuals and teams around common solutions by unifying best-practices and driving critical initiatives across the SE organization.
In this role you can expect to:
- Be a part of increasing the efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of global SE organization
- Partner with teammates on top priority corporate initiatives
- Impact core programs designed to improve SE efficiency and productivity
- Translate recommendations to results by completing action plans and projects/programs
- Drive consistent best-practices across geographies
- Gain understanding of the role Solutions Engineers play and their operations related requirements
- Investigate metrics to identify root cause issues/opportunities and follow through with action-oriented insights
- Learn how to define charter, impact, goals, and milestones with tiger teams on strategic projects
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with leaders of sales operations, product management and engineering departments
- Partner cross-functionally to maintain/improve the baseline solutions used by SEs globally
You may be a good fit for our team if you have:
- Are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in the United States and returning back to school following completion of the internship
- Some Experience in Project Management (standalone projects with defined outcomes)
- Understanding of Technical Program Management (ongoing & reoccurring initiatives)
- Interest in Business Analysis (detailed investigation & problem solving)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative problem solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills (able to explain complex issues in easy to understand terms)
- Understanding of project planning & execution
- Enjoys productivity and efficiency improvement
- Proficiency in effective decision making
- Academic or some professional experience working in a corporate environment is preferred
