The Red Hat Global Technology and Architecture team is looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to gain hands-on experience with open source and Red Hat products during a summer internship to join us as a Solutions Architect Intern. What you will do

  • Learn, understand, and develop new playbooks for deployment models for cloud and
  • virtualization
  • Organize and gather all the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform playbooks and Github repos
  • Understand a telecommunications use case for edge, catalog the design of that use
  • case with Red Hat's offerings, and develop a blueprint


What you will bring

  • Ability to work full-time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field in Junior year; if
  • you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
  • Knowledge of the Unix or Linux operating system of any distribution
  • Coding experience in languages like Python or Ansible and HTML
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous code contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on
  • GitHub are a plus
  • Knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Kubernetes, JavaScript, or Bash scripting is a plus
