Role Summary

Mavenir is seeking full-time Software Engineering Interns for the Summer 2021.

Relevant skills include Linux OS, IP networks, scripting languages, and preferably experience in telecom systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of XML language and HTTP Protocol.
• Optional experience with SIP, SMS and distributed database technology
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming Concepts
• Angular JS (Angular 4 preferred) would be a plus
• Knowledge on Spring , Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Rest Template
• Working experience on Linux/Unix with good shell scripting skills
• Working knowledge of MySQL and other relational database
• Hands on with Apache Tomcat or popular webserver
• REST based Web services

Job Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related degree program
• Working experience with Linux (Redhat preferred) is mandatory.
• cripting (in bash/Perl/Python) ability.
• Working knowledge of SQL commands.
• Familiarity with distributed databases like MySql, MariaDB, Cassandra, Swift.
• Familiar with IP networking concepts (TCP, UDP, IP, VLAN, IP Subnet).
• Familiar with Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) concepts, RedHat Openstack
• Experience with technical standards including 3GPP, IETF, and ITU, telecom systems and tools.
