Job Description

Copart is seeking several Software Engineer Interns at our Global Headquarters located in Dallas, TX. The successful candidates will join our IT Product Development Yards Team and will be utilizing the very latest tools and technologies.

Candidates must be available for 40 hours a week to be considered for this role and be able to begin during the Spring 2022 semester.

This position will assist in duties including, but not limited to, the following:

• With assistance, collaborate with other engineers to achieve optimal application architecture and design.
• With assistance, develop efficient, secure applications, peer-review code, and document solutions within an agile blended software environment.
• Communicate proactively with teammates, infrastructure, security, and Quality Assurance to continuously improve processes and engineering excellence.
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be a recent graduate or student currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similarly related degree
• Experience with Mobile or Web application, JavaScript or Ruby.
• Applications will only be accepted from candidates with a thorough knowledge and practical experience of programming language (or a similar object-oriented language).

• Excellent communication skills, ability to work in collaborative environment
• Ability to learn new technology.
• Experience with ReactJS, React Native is preferred.
