Job Description

We are seeking smart, self-motivated, well-rounded software engineers who excel at solving problems and seeking to improve processes in innovative ways. To be successful in this role you must value teamwork and communication as well as working closely with other engineers in small, dynamic teams. As a Software Engineer Intern in this role you must be adept at learning new technologies quickly. This role will be responsible for the following and additional responsibilities assigned: designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality code for a robust public safety software package written in C# and Java includes knowledge using object oriented coding, UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in formal design and software development activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain application software following established standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Create Unit and Automated test cases.
• Provide Management estimates for the projected work.
• Collaborate with technical leaders other other teams.
• Exercise agility, in the face of dynamic priorities and new work

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of C#, .NET and SQL
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus

Basic Requirements

• Applicants currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, with a graduation date on or after December 1st, 2022.

• This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Vaccine Requirement
