Job Scope:

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for working with the Social team on developing and executing posts across social platforms. Goal is to drive brand awareness, company culture, news, sales and marketing. Support includes content strategy, content creation and community engagement.

• Be on top of trends on social (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) that can be utilized for a business account

• Create new social-first content (video and photos) about products, corporate culture and moment in time

• Can inspire and help develop strong creative content that contributes to brand affinity and advocacy 

Qualifications:

• Experience working with social platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Twitter.)

• Excellent written communication skills

• Creative mind-set, but know how to keep business friendly 

• Experience with creative design (ie. Photoshop, Canva) 

• Attention to detail 

• Can collaborate and help develop strong creative content that contributes to brand affinity and advocacy

• Proficient in Microsoft office tools/programs, Google suite  

• Self-starters who are results-oriented, resourceful, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious

• Excellent written and verbal skills with a strong attention to detail

• Quick learner who thrives in a fast paced environment, ability to adapt to change and willingness to learn

Learning Skills/Outcomes:

• Gain experience in working in a fast-paced team environment that interacts with different functional areas like marketing, product, corporate culture, and cooperate social responsibility.

• Learn how a public company uses social media to promote products, people, and customers.  

Availability:

• Part-time [20 hours per week, 12-week internship]

• Must be available to start either September 20, or September 27, 2022

• This will be a virtual internship

If you are hired in Colorado or New York, the hourly rate of compensation ranges between $26.00 and $28.00 per hour for part-time employees. This rate may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
