Role Summary

Product security is vital to the success of Mavenir and it's customers. As a Security Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with R&D Engineers and customer security teams.

Industry and customer security needs in Technology continue to grow and you will have hands on opportunity to experience cutting edge development.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing software security configurations and tools which strengthen Mavenir product security.
• Activities involve researching available 3rd party utilities, developing security tools, and analyzing results from customer security audits.

Job Requirements

Relevant skills include Linux OS, IP networks, Ansible, Jenkins, YAML, scripting languages, and familiar with software security.

• Experience with Linux (Redhat preferred) platforms
• Experience with Scripting (in bash/Perl/Python), C++, Java, Ansible, Python, Bash, Perl, Visual Basic
• Familiar with IP networking concepts ( TCP, UDP, IP, VLAN, IP Subnet)
• Experience MS Excel, MS PowerPoint preferred
• Familiar with Telecom systems and technical standards including 3GPP, IETF, and ITU
• Experience with test tools including Ansible, Jenkins, YAML, Wireshark, Putty, code analysis tools, security analysis tools
