The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Revenue Operations Intern to join us. In this role, you will focus on Global Marketing Technology and Operations and work on the strategy, processes, and platforms that support the revenue generation process. You will work across the Marketing and Sales teams to identify business problems and inefficiencies related to business development, platform and process enablement as well as the continuous optimization of your largest stakeholders. Through gathering business requirements and conducting complex data analysis you will develop scalable solutions that use a combination of people, process, and technology. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once, which involve stakeholders across the company.
The focus for Red Hat's Intern Program is a dual partnership between the Early Talent team and our intern managers. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout your summer at Red Hat.
What you will do

  • Conduct meetings to uncover business problems, gather requirements, and establish goals to improve the revenue generation process within sales and marketing
  • Document current state and ideal future state processes of revenue-generating activities within sales and marketing
  • Evaluate new technology that can help meet business goals
  • Identify key metrics that should be tracked to improve the health of the revenue engine
  • Help design scalable solutions that make our sales representatives more productive


What you will bring

  • Ability to work full time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a degree; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
  • Inquisitive and strategic thinking skills


The following are considered a plus:

  • Passion for sales, marketing, and data
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reporting experience in Salesforce.com or Tableau
