Recruiting Intern

Santa Monica, CA

This intern will support various aspects of full-cycle recruiting (e.g. coordination, sourcing, interviewing, program management). Develop an understanding of how a recruiting team functions within a game development studio. Gain a basic understanding of multiple game development roles and the career pathway of a Recruiter. We value talent, self-motivation, and team spirit. In turn, we provide an environment with a large degree of autonomy and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of recruitment including posting jobs, sourcing, meeting with hiring managers, reviewing resumes, scheduling and coordination, conducting interviews, and extending and/or negotiating offers  
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams  
  • Learn and use the ins and outs of our Greenhouse ATS  
  • Prepare Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents  
  • Create visually appealing and easily digestible infographics to help with communication of certain processes and workflows  
  • Provide candidates and employees with assistance and deliver quality solutions, if able, or escalate the request to a more senior team member  
  • Ad hoc tasks to support the recruiting team  
  • Help develop and execute talent-related programs and/or events  

Qualifications:

  • Current or post-graduate (up to 1 year) student
  • Interest in Recruiting and the Video Game Development Industry  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information  
  • Ability to start an assignment or project from scratch and drive to completion  
  • Superior organizational skills; results-focus with superb execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented; thrives in a fast-paced environment  
  • Self-motivated to learn and be flexible; can receive and implement feedback effectively  

Desired qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in an office environment  
  • Recruiting Experience from another role or internship  
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter and/or Entelo  
  • Knowledge of video game industry and current trends
