About the job
The Red Hat Public Sector Field Marketing team is looking for a Program Marketing Intern to join us. In this role, you will manage special projects related to internal communications, sales and market development enablement, partner marketing, and event delivery. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to gain a thorough understanding of the organization and market, as well as assist the marketing team in fulfillment of public sector campaigns and sales enablement tactics.
What you will do

  • Coordinate new marketing development representative enablement program for large programs through nurture campaigns, call scripts, and email sequencing
  • Manage the internal customer reference program
  • Lead the creation of the monthly and weekly sales communications and newsletters - Communique, Webinars, Partner
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of customer events (e.g, webinars, virtual workshops)
  • Assist team with lead management efforts
  • Manage special projects to support field marketers
  • Participate in all public sector field marketing planning and cadence meetings
  • Develop social media and Bambu posts for upcoming assets and events for North America Public Sector (NAPS) to use
  • Develop nurture campaigns, coordinating with marketing managers and marketing development leadership, for key marketing campaigns and sales motions


What you will bring

  • Undergraduate business student, preferably in the marketing field; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
  • Ability to work full-time May-August
  • Positive attitude, solid work ethic, responsive, and excellent organization and communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills to produce promotional messaging, website, and email copy
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and creativity
