As a Product Yield Analysis and Analytics Intern at Micron Technology Inc, your primary responsibilities will include gaining familiarity with our current Enhanced Software for Defect Analysis (ESDA) ecosystem along with the development of novel methods and tools to expand these systems. This internship will leverage your data analytics, software development, Machine learning, and engineering problem solving skills to build tools that identify defects that are impacting yield and quality. These tools and methods are essential for improving yield and quality across all parts that Micron makes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Design new methods to detect fails that occur during the semiconductor manufacturing process.
  • Optimize and leverage these methods by building tools that will be used by multiple engineering teams.
  • Find opportunities to leverage existing ESDA data for yield and reliability improvement.


Required Qualifications:

  • Specializing in one or more of the following areas:
  • Electrical Engineering Semiconductors.
  • Software Development.
  • Data Science.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.
  • Familiarity with Machine learning and data science analysis techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong skills in presenting sophisticated technical ideas/concepts.


Education:
Working towards a BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Software Development, or equivalent college degrees.
