Our summer internships provide ambitious undergraduates the chance to gain real world experience in their field of study. We provide challenging, professional experience with a global corporation, where you learn from and work alongside Donaldson employees. Internships take place at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, over a 10-12 week period.
As an intern, you will gain insight into the role of product management in a global manufacturing organization. You will also learn how market analysis and market management helps us in achieving our business objectives. You will support members of our Product Management team and will also have independent projects. This is a great assignment for an individual who is well organized, collaborative and enjoys variety in their role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Gather comprehensive knowledge of competitive positioning and competitor strategies
- Work with cross functional team members to prepare content for sales tools such as product literature for new and existing product lines
- Conduct market data analysis on our core markets, reviewing internal and external data
- Review and analyze product and accessory pricing to ensure alignment with pricing strategy
- Work on other key projects with the assistance of mentor and product management team
- Complete a final presentation at the close of the internship that outlines the involved projects and knowledge gained
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor's degree in: Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Energetic self-starter who seeks innovative solutions
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
