Cree offers an extensive 12-week internship program that aligns with our new hiring model and talent development strategy. Students a part of our internship program will develop knowledge and skills across their areas of interest while gaining insight into unit operations. Additionally, you will have the ability to apply academic concepts to real-world business challenges. An intern has the opportunity to be a key strategic contributor from the ground up.

What you need for success:

Enrollment in an accredited collegiate program

Maintains a 3.0 GPA or above

Excellent communication skills

Relevant Experience

Ability to work without sponsorship now or in the future

Who You'll Work With

Opportunities in this internship may include:
• As a Product Management intern, you'll learn about the intersection between business and engineering. By working for a Product Line Manager, you'll be able to understand product strategy, customer interactions, and market-driven specification development.
• Product Management requires strong inter-disciplinary communication skills and the ability to work across different business units. For example, you may find yourself working with the Research & Development team one day then working on a problem with the Finance team on the next.
• You'll have the opportunity to work with / create product documentation and help support adoption of cutting-edge SiC power electronics technology.
• Engineering background with interest in business processes preferred.
• Must be self-motivated with an excitement to learn about new things and tackle new ideas.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail appreciated.
