At the moment, our 12 week internship experience is remote. Dates are currently set for May - August, 2022 but please consult with your recruiter. Seeking US and Canadian students only. 

The Role 

We are currently seeking a Product Management Intern (Portfolio Analysis & Attributes Workflows) to join our Product Team

Our team is responsible for the development of our Portfolio Analysis & Attributes offering, improving workflows and UX of the analysis tool. We drive the evolution of product offerings powered by the Addepar platform with a talented team of product managers, while partnering closely with leaders across R&D and business to achieve our company objectives.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial-minded and thrives in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment. You have outstanding communication and collaboration skills and are able to work with a diverse group, get consensus, and drive the product forward.  You are execution focused and emphasize getting things done while paying attention to important details.  You are passionate about using technology to solve problems in a user-centric way.  You have a passion for the fintech industry and want to solve the problems of investment reporting, advisor communication, data aggregation, investment analysis, product design, and enterprise enablement.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn about how Portfolio Analysis helps financial advisors and their clients, and how it relates to other areas of the larger Addepar ecosystem and wealth management industry
  • Define product requirements, priorities, and milestones for new features/enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional teammates in design, engineering, and other orgs
  • Develop understanding and empathy for our users’ needs and pain points
  • Gather feedback and requirements from customers and stakeholders and translate them into data-driven product recommendations
  • Support the team's day-to-day operations, including helping with agile ceremonies, and bug triage

Who You Are 

  • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution (university must be located in the US & Canada) & must be returning to school after internship
  • Available to intern for the full 12 weeks
  • Excellent presentation, communication (listening, written, spoken), and influencing skills
  • A low ego and a high level of organization, accountability, and integrity
  • A servant leader mindset focused on facilitation, empathy, and consensus-building
  • A desire to “roll up your sleeves” and dive deeply into our users’ most complex problems, even when faced with ambiguity and limited direction or support
  • Knowledge and experience with technical domains (SQL, software development, etc.)
  • Finance knowledge and personal projects are a plus
  • Engineering/ CS background is a plus
