Responsibilities
- Execute and deliver high-quality UX deliverables based on project goals
- Act as the user experience expert on collaborative design projects
- Complete assigned milestones on time and with a strong understanding of the project guidelines
- Lead and/or support discovery and research efforts on assigned projects and use research findings to make informed product recommendations
- Collaborate with project team members and design leads to ensure creative direction is carried through a project lifecycle; from research and discovery through implementation
- Clearly communicate questions or ideas to help the creative process
- Create wireframes with interactions that work as expected, conveying modern paradigms for mobile and web while utilizing standard elements as intended
- Take input, critique, and advice from the client and team to move a project forward
- Contribute to a positive, creative, and supportive atmosphere
Qualifications
- Familiarity with prototyping tools (Figma preferred)
- Understanding of mobile & web paradigms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write detailed, clear, and concise annotations
- Strong interest in web and/or mobile application design
- Must have a detail-oriented and organized production process
- Proficient with Google Suite
Education + Experience
- Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a UX-related field preferred
- Previous product design intern/work experience
- Online portfolio required
- Portfolio exhibits a mastery of product design principles
- Project types preferred: Responsive web design, mobile app and product design
Comments
- This position will require you to work remotely, and manage multiple tasks while delivering projects on time and on budget
- This is a part-time, paid, Summer intern position
- Contractors will not be considered
