The Red Hat Global Procurement is looking for a creative, passionate individual who is ready to join us in Raleigh, NC as a Procurement Analyst Intern and learn within an innovative and dynamic company. What you will do

  • Deliver insights and identify opportunities to improve procurement operational processes
  • Assist the team on source-to-pay process improvement related activities
  • Support the sourcing team and procurement metric generation with analytical dashboard design, criteria gathering, data organization, etc.
  • Help in content gathering, course design, and implementation of Procurement tool trainings
  • Support buyer desk activities including non-critical or low-spend strategic sourcing events like RFx
  • Assist in managing supplier databases
  • Help develop improved procurement internal and external communication materials to enhance stakeholder engagement and cross team collaboration
  • Help to improve implementation of Supplier Diversity and Social and Environmental programs


What you will bring

  • Basic knowledge of procurement and applies it in work assignments
  • Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities to drive strategic initiatives
  • Understanding of best practices to help find new and more efficient ways of operating
  • Ability to work full time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a degree in supply chain or related field; if you have graduated, be no more
  • than 6 months past your graduate date
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace productivity tools is a plus
