Mailchimp designed our 12 week paid internship program to help students grow their skillset, create lasting connections, and do meaningful work. Along with helping our interns grow professionally, we're also committed to their personal growth and provide various soft skill classes while also hosting fun events along the way!

Our program is open to students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, bootcamp, and online courses - all candidates must be enrolled through the duration of the program.

We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing intern to join our team. We value creative, self-driven individuals who care about the work they produce and the people they work with—and we love a good sense of humor, too. If you are an excellent communicator and collaborator who likes to work independently as well as in team settings, keep reading!

The Brand Marketing intern, social, will support internal marketing initiatives as well as assist the organic social team with brand work. We are looking for a candidate who is curious about social content strategy and creation. In addition, they must have strong organizational skills, excellent written/verbal communication skills, and are looking to challenge themselves by working in a heavily cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor social channels for engagement and other participation opportunities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to traffic marketing assets for each Mailchimp Presents show campaign
  • Work closely with our Demand Center team to write and edit copy for the Mailchimp social channels
  • Assist in content creation for our social channels
  • Contribute to content planning for internal marketing needs
  • Lead creation of talent promotional plans and assets
