The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for an Operations Management Intern to join our team at Busch Stadium in Saint Louis, Missouri. As an Operations Management Intern, you will work directly with multiple stakeholders in Operations, Accounting and HR to assist in the daily operations that are required for our team to successfully operate!

Responsibilities

• Partner with Front line Managers, Accounting and HR team
• Assists Managers in daily operational tasks such as managing associate timecards, inputting tip earnings, assisting with screening, interviewing, and hiring.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of associates on a per shift basis, including training and enforcing work procedures and service standards.
• Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management.
• Estimates, requests, and inspects supplies and inventory.
• Ensures accuracy of all deliveries.
• Adheres to and enforces inventory and labor control measures.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in a hospitality or operations position is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 Years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift.
• Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at the waist, bending, and squat.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
