The Embedded Business Unit develops and markets a diverse product line of memory products for a variety of segments including Networking, Consumer, and Industrial. This intern will work closely with sales, application engineering teams, and marketing organizations across Micron
Responsibilities:

• You will analyze market and technology trends to identify gaps in our business strategies.
• Build and drive the development of key collateral, tools and training materials to help influence the use of Micron products.
• You collaborate with distributors to develop and implement programs that inspire change in Micron product awareness.
• Collect, analyze and publish data to track success indicators and resolve directional changes in strategies.
• Assist in planning and participating with the Regional Distributor teams for Corporate Trade Shows and Field Marketing Programs.
• Perform research on a particular segment or application area and present analysis and suggestions with validated business insight.
• Develop web tools or apps for the purpose of sales aids or efficiency of data look-ups.
• Research competitor roadmaps, new products and GTM message and strategy in IMM and Automotive.
• Research and data mine Micron's distribution sales out to help resize the total available market in IMM
• Develop a proposed method to help refine EBU's Market Model into geographic splits

Qualifications:
You will have:

• Demonstrated people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and customers
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; presentation skills are a plus.
• An outgoing, ambitious and upbeat personality.
• Familiarity in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Preferred but not required:

• Data analytics capabilities and the ability to use data to take on problems and inspire change.
• Technical background in engineering.
• A willingness to do extended internships spring/summer or summer/fall.

Education/Experience:

• Currently pursuing a BS, BA, or MBA degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Data Analytics/MIS or Program Management.
• Experience in the Electronics/Semiconductors Industry a plus.
