POSITION SUMMARY:
Aprimo is currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated Marketing Intern to join our growing marketing department. This intern will collaborate with our demand generation and marketing teams in all stages of our campaign execution process.
The Marketing Intern will help with executing and managing a variety of campaigns which include conducting SEO research, monitoring social and advertising platforms, and crafting actionable insights. After campaign execution, this intern will conduct thorough analysis and report on all outcomes. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of current marketing techniques/trends and social media platforms.
Successfully managing projects will require excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to operate within a global team. As this role requires working with employees across multiple departments, this intern must have the mentality of a team player.
The Marketing Intern works within the Global Marketing Department and reports to the Director, Demand Generation and Growth; collaborating across the Marketing Organization working closely and interfacing with the Brand Experience Team (including Copywriters and Graphic Designers) and Marketing Operations driving forward projects to be delivered around the world!
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Responsible for advertising launch and management of campaigns
  • Conduct SEO and competitive research. Implement findings into emails, blogs, website, and other copy efforts
  • Schedule, build and deploy email campaigns, multi-step email marketing campaigns and automated journeys that incorporate segmentation as part of the promotional execution of marketing plans
  • Manage event calendar and support overall brand experience for the event, including: booth, swag, contests, brand materials and giveaways that deliver maximum quality and brand impact ensuring stakeholder and leadership visibility, and adequate resource allocation
  • Support our team's efforts to highlight the impact of our demand campaigns and programs by collecting and analyzing data, building presentations, and delivering results to key stakeholders
  • Deliver projects successfully, and on time with quality solutions

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU'RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE:

  • The Essentials
    • College junior or senior preferred majoring in business or related field
    • Experience managing organizational projects
    • Desire to learn and develop a career in marketing
    • Extremely organized, "no job is too small" attitude, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task a must
    • Experience in Pardot or Salesforce is a plus
  • Additional Successful Qualities
    • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Multi-tasker - ability to effectively work on several projects at once
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods and performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
  • Must be able to move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Must be able to perform light physical work that includes lifting or moving objects up to 20 lbs. or medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information, including conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly
  • Must possess the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking levels
  • Must be able to repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers (i.e., repeated typing, etc.)
  • The worker is required to have close visual awareness to perform an activity and to assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned, such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
