Mailchimp designed our 12 week paid internship program to help students grow their skillset, create lasting connections, and do meaningful work. Along with helping our interns grow professionally, we're also committed to their personal growth and provide various soft skill classes while also hosting fun events along the way!

Our program is open to students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, bootcamp, and online courses - all candidates must be enrolled through the duration of the program.

We’re looking for a Film Programming intern to join our Mailchimp Studios team. We value creative, self-driven individuals who care about the work they produce and the people they work with—and we love a good sense of humor, too. If you are an excellent communicator and collaborator who likes to work independently as well as in team settings, keep reading!

The Film Programming intern will work with our Programming team and external production partners to directly support our pipeline of licensing and acquisition opportunities for Mailchimp Presents. We are looking for a candidate who is curious about film programming and has a background in film studies. In addition, they must have strong analytical skills, determined research capabilities, and great written/verbal communication skills. Our ideal candidate is a film and research buff who loves artful content and has very strong organizational skills.

What you'll do here: 

  • Work with our Programming team to conduct research and tracking related to films, film festivals, and studios
  • Evaluate and provide detailed research and analysis on short films and creative projects
  • Track content and workflows, and help ensure tracking spreadsheets are up to date

We'd love to hear from you if: 

  • You have experience with in-depth film analysis
  • You have a passion for exceptional visual storytelling
  • You have flexible research skills
  • You are knowledgeable about independent film and the festival circuit
  • You have experience using G Suite apps
