We are looking for a talented Learning and Development Intern to join our team. This role requires strong communication skills and solid organizational and project coordination abilities. This role will provide support in one or more of the following areas: course tracking and evaluation, learning design, development research and archiving, planning, and internal training operations. The right candidate for this internship must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team to complete tasks.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The role is pivotal in enabling great experiences for HDR employees through strong logistical support. Essential responsibilities include:

• Create training enrollments, track registration and attendance, and document completion in learning management system
• Communicate event information to participants and address any learning related inquiries in a timely manner
• Provide strong logistical support when coordinating and organizing learning events across the company
• Share insights into improving employee experiences, simplifying processes, and supporting effective and efficient delivery of learning events.
• Support the HDR registration and email confirmation process for learning events
• Review, audit and recommend modifications to new and existing courses and materials through collaboration with the team
• Develop and support programs and materials to ensure business requirements are met, in alignment with defined goals
• Ensure staff are provided with relevant information for updates, processes, and procedures
• Assist with virtual and in person event planning activities

• Actively seeking a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• Ability to work on complex and multipart projects
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in person and virtually
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a desire for process improvements
• Highly motivated and passionate about providing high-quality customer service
• Willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer 2+ years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• eLearning Authoring, Media Design, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft tools (or similar) such as Photoshop and/or Illustrator, Publisher, Canva
