Our summer internships provide ambitious undergraduates the chance to gain real world experience in their field of study. We provide challenging, professional experience with a global corporation, where you learn from and work alongside Donaldson employees. Internships take place at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, over a 10-12 week period.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise a subset of project workstreams and coordinate team members to keep workflow on track
- Manage project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly classified and stored
- Draft financial reporting and manage budgets by tracking with time entry and approvals and management of other costs
- Provide IT Project Management Office portfolio analytics and reporting for senior management
- Assess project risks and escalate to project manager
- Participate in business requirements and analysis efforts, including workshops and producing business process documents
- Participate in Project Management Office process improvement efforts including IT Demand Management and IT Resource Capacity Management
- Plan and manage meeting schedules and any workshop coordination for projects, including with vendors
- Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from project meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor's degree in: Business, Operations, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Energetic self-starter who seeks innovative solutions
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities
