IPG IT provides foundational information technology services to IPG. IPG IT is the IPG Global Community that gains process efficiencies and cost savings by sharing the following common IT services:
- Enterprise Service Desk
- Hosting
- Messaging
- Network
- Applications Support
- Project Management
- Enterprise Application Architecture
This intern position is located in Omaha, NE and prefers a year or longer internship.
What types of services does IPG IT provide?
- The Enterprise Service Desk: Provides technical support and escalation for many IPG operating companies and sites.
- Hosting: Four enterprise data centers and the Managed Hosting Services team supply and maintain the core hosting equipment that supports IPG s business.
- Global Messaging Services: Provides a global messaging platform consisting of user-friendly e-mail services, active directory, and mobile communication devices.
- Global Network Services: Centrally supports and manages the global data and voice services for the organization.
- Application Support : Provides support for a variety of business applications
- Project Management: Oversees the creation, change, destruction, and combination of special IT projects globally
- Enterprise Application Architecture: Ensures all work pertaining to deploying and maintaining enterprise applications goes through review early in the work stream, and supports process improvement and change implementation initiatives.

Internship Prerequisites:
- Freshman, Sophomore or Junior Standing
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- At least 18 years of age
- Computer Science or MIS Major
- Must successfully complete IPG Background Investigation and Reference Checks
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for other than practical training
