About our intern program:
Our competitive intern program offers interns exposure to the business world and a meaningful work experience. Interns are treated as valuable team members while learning from experienced professionals in a collaborative, fun and dynamic environment. Baird's summer intern program activities include an Intern Welcome Event, professional development, networking with leaders and associates, and many other informal events. Our interns have the opportunity to use a Baird Cares Day, a paid day to volunteer in the community. They are also eligible to apply for scholarships. Our mentor program gives interns an opportunity to network throughout Baird and learn about all the areas of the firm.

Our Talent Acquisition Team:

Our Talent Acquisition team is responsible for attracting, sourcing and hiring top talent across the firm and promoting Baird as a best place to work. This intern will work closely with our Employer Brand Manager and Corporate Recruiters to assist in sharing the Baird story to attract and hire talent.

Internship Location, Availability, and Hours:

Located in our Downtown Milwaukee office, the intern must be able to work part-time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week, and full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who has flexibility to start part-time in December 2022 or January 2023.

As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you will:

• Assist in the continued development and implementation of the talent acquisition social media strategy to successfully promote Baird opportunities and culture
• Assist with building and execution of employer brand content creation and campaigns

• Create branding materials and communications for Baird's internship program and recruitment campaigns
• Assist in the creation, implementation and long-term success of Baird's employee advocacy platform
• Partner with Talent Acquisition leaders and recruiters on a variety of projects
• Support process improvements and projects for Talent Acquisition and across HR
• Deliver unparalleled customer service to talent acquisition and hiring managers, while ensuring prospective candidates have a great experience with Baird

What we look for:

• Pursuing a Business, Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or related degree at a local university. Targeting students graduating in May 2024 or later
• One year of general office experience preferred with an interest in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or Marketing
• Interest and experience in social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), including content creation and video creation and editing with tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc

• Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong PowerPoint skills
• Provide balance of creativity, curiosity, drive and interpersonal savvy
• Great customer service skills with ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations
• Excellent organizational skills, exceptional follow-up skills and high attention to detail
