INTERN
Job Summary:
Engineering Intern to work with experienced team on development, integration, and testing for the assigned program.
Duties will include software design and implementation tasks including the use of Microsoft Office products as well as programming efforts using the C, C++, and Java software languages.
Job Knowledge:
Knowledge in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:
- Strong mathematics background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Industry best-practice software development and collaboration tools, such as DI2E, JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket or similar
- Knowledge of military simulation systems
- Maintaining software using version control tools
- Familiarity with commercial game development platforms
- Knowledge of Head Mounted Displays and AR/VR integration
- Container development and deployment (Docker preferred)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned to sustain the operation of the facility
Requirements/Experience:
The ideal candidate must possess the following experience, competencies, and qualities:
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and have exposure to computer programming
- Sound judgment capability and discretion with confidential information
- Problem solving capabilities
- Attention to detail
- Must be team player
Minimum Education:
- Current college student in Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
Other Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen. Security clearance desirable but not required.
Position requires COVID 19 full vaccination or willingness to test as required by the customer; testing is at the cost of the individual.
