POSITION SUMMARY

Evoqua Water Technologies is seeking an intern to play a key role in the Internal Audit department. The position will be based in Evoqua's headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA and has potential to be extended through the end of calendar year 2022. This position will include the following responsibilities:

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Live our culture and exemplify our Growth Enabling Behaviors to be highly enabled to deliver, highly empowered to succeed and highly accountable to lead.
• Assist in the performance of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing
• Support the execution of operational audits, as defined by the annual audit plan
• Perform monitoring activities related to completed audits to ensure management action plans are implemented
• Contribute to the review of applicable accounting/finance policies
• Perform technical accounting research
• Coordinate annual audit procedures with the Company's external auditors
• Complete other activities as identified by the Director of Internal Audit

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1) FORMAL EDUCATION:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 2022 or 2023 graduate preferred
• A minimum GPA of 3.0

2) KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Introductory knowledge of SOX requirements
• Foundation in core business processes
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships and working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization

3) OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours during the school year and 40 hours during summer break
• Ability to travel domestically up to 10% during the summer months
