We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our R&D Software V&V Tools team. As a Software Engineer Intern you will collaborate with other V&V Tools SW Engineers and Software V&V Test Engineers on medical device projects which are critical to Hologic customers and to the long-term success of the company.
This intern will be developing automation software responsible for thoroughly testing the medical device systems developed within Hologic R&D. This includes desktop application software, TCP/IP network programming, data applications, and working with AI for automated comparisons of images.
We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. In order to be considered for this internship you must:
- Be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and have at least one semester left after internship
- Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior
- Majoring in: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
- Have a 3.2/4.0 GPA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and tackle new projects and tasks as needed
- Ability to work with different programming languages and technologies such as C#, Python, .NET, C++, SQL, and HTML
- Familiarity with programming on Windows OS is desirable
