As a 2022 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 6, 2022 and conclude on August 12, 2022.
About The Team
"Automation as a Service": a framework that enables technology teams to unleash the power of orchestration and allows for the reusability of existing programs to foster a culture of automation, in the process reducing cost, improving service quality and operational stability. The Automation as a Service team is responsible to deliver IT Ops automation for CIO. We are a global team of 20+ engineers who owns to build tools, workflows, automated jobs for all internal stack holders. Team is responsible to build any/all manual reoccurring task.
What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for developing software in Java and other programming languages to support a large scale IT systems with Linux/Windows based servers, MS SQL, Oracle Databases.
• Responsible for developing software to completion with each sprint, as part of an Agile delivery team that uses Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Responsible for full spectrum of the software development life-cycle
• Frequently communicate with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Work with technical staff to understand and to develop resolution of software problems.
• Participate in the development of software user manuals or other documentations.

What You Bring

• Rising senior (graduating December 2022 through May 2023) pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline
• Familiarity with computer programming and software development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Added Bonus If You Have

• Experience with Java, UNIX, SQL or Oracle
