As one of our interns, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You'll be assigned to a team and work on real-life projects that bring our products and services to life. On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You'll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the ten-week program.

What Does the Internship Program Offer?

Successful candidates will spend 10 weeks working with our technology teams.

You will be paid for the duration of your internship. The internship begins on Monday, June 6th and ends Friday, August 12th, 2022.

Qualifications

Job Description

As a Project Coordinator in the Pearson Digital & Technology department, you will have the opportunity to work with the Pearson global digital content platform, and many different global products. You will participate in project planning, monitoring project progress, coordinating meetings, and addressing project dependencies and issues. By successfully completing the assigned tasks, you will develop expertise in project coordination, and learn how to design project schedule, prepare presentations to senior management, track and communicate project risks, and ensure project timelines are met.

What does the 10 weeks involve?

Interns will develop a broad knowledge of project management in a technology organization, and have opportunity to liaise with senior management, in addition to business stakeholders. The role will gain exposure to lots of different projects, which helps build up the skill-set required to progress into a project manager role.

Minimum Requirements

  • We look for Students pursuing Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Science degree.
  • Students should have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Students should be a 'people person', well-rounded and happy to take on new challenges. Flexibility is important, as you will be joining a versatile and agile team.
  • Graduation date between December 2022 and May 2024 and should be within driving distance of office location.
