JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

The Marketing Intern is responsible for participating in assigned marketing programs as well as contributing to various marketing initiatives and special projects.

Interns working on the Strategic Insights & Analytics Team should have a strong interest in client analytic work, learning and using Salesforce, comfortable using spreadsheets and light coding. This intern will be focused on assisting and standing up the SF Datorama environment and setting up use cases from SF via the Tableau CRM widget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for participating in the development, planning, or execution assigned projects or initiatives.
  • Provides support to administrative, program and development tasks as assigned or required.
  • Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
  • Participates in meetings with management to learn about the company's objectives and processes.
  • Participates in special projects or other assignments, as needed, to support the marketing department.



MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, business administration preferred.
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Possesses critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.



ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
