Title: Intern - Market Research Deliverable Production

Location: U.S. Remote 

Reports to: Syndicated Deliverable Production Director

As an Intern within the Syndicated Deliverables team, you will support cross-functional research teams for our customer satisfaction survey research-based business. You will be working with internal key stakeholders to develop data insights and reporting for clients. You will ensure our online content delivery platform meets J.D. Power’s high standards and develop/maintain optimal quality assurance protocols that can be leveraged across the entire organization. You will also work closely with other teams within the greater organization to ensure studies are designed to maintain scientific integrity, quality, produced in an efficient and timely manner.

The Impact: The Intern will be a member of a team of Consumer Insights and Deliverable Production experts. You will need to be a self-starter who can work autonomously or as part of a larger collective to forge and foster close-knit relationships with other departments. You and the team will ensure J.D. Power study deliverables are designed and produced to meet client needs in a timely manner and ensure the production of the syndicated study is efficient and smooth.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively perform Quality Assurance (QA) protocols on online charting /graphical assets, client presentations, and other assets
  • Ensure that deliverable designs and executions meet J.D. Power visual and quality standards
  • Develop and document deliverable specifications and artifacts for a set of syndicated studies
  • Perform Quality Assurance processes on input forms and deliverables to verify accuracy to specifications
  • Strong multi-tasking and organization abilities; can work independently
  • Sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives, and deadlines; general willingness to learn and is not afraid to take things on

Qualifications:

  • Experience in market research and/or related fields is desirable, but not required
  • Education: actively enrolled and in pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. degree
  • Desire to learn how to interpret and write technical documents
  • Experience building assets within software such as Tableau, Dapresy, and the like is desirable, but not required
  • Coding experience in areas such as HTML, JavaScript, VBA, etc. is desirable, but not required
  • Demonstrated light-to-moderate experience using SPSS (or similar statistical software) with an interest in market research and/or data visualization(s) is desirable, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of the Office 365 architecture
