Intern Engineer NAND Development Quality

As an intern engineer in the NAND Quality and Reliability DDQA team at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of a worldwide team responsible for characterizing and driving reliability improvements on leading-edge non-volatile technology from R&D to high volume manufacturing. You will work closely with engineers and scientists across a diverse set of locations and backgrounds to help solve NAND, CMOS device and interconnect reliability issues.
Our team is hiring for an intern team member for the Spring or Summer of 2022 to help solve and drive reliability improvements into our leading-edge NAND products.
Expectations:
- In-depth knowledge in semiconductor device physics and electrical characterization methods to segment reliability fail modes
- Proficient in data analysis through JMP, Python, or other data engineering software
- Solve problems with a model-based approach and drive technical innovation through process improvements, design
- Use of machine learning and data analysis techniques to optimize NAND reliability
Qualifications:
- Background in semiconductor physics and processing
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written English communication skills
- Good coding skills in Python, Perl, or other languages preferred
- Experience working on applied machine learning and statistical modeling problems strongly preferred
- Experience working with statistical data analysis packages such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, SciPy preferred.
Education:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Material Science Engineering
- A student enrolled in an M.S. or PhD program in the disciplines above
