We're looking for the next generation of talented undergraduates to join our team for an unforgettable 11-week internship. An internship at Pearson is an opportunity to bring your own unique perspective as a learner, together with your academic knowledge, technical skills, and enthusiasm, to help create products used by students like you.

As one of our interns, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You'll be assigned to a team and work on real-life projects that bring our products and services to life. On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You'll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the 11-week program. There will also be an end of program project and presentation. This is a remote internship opportunity.

What Does the Internship Program Offer?

Successful candidates will spend 11 weeks working with our Production & Digital Studio (P&DS) teams.

You will be paid for the duration of your internship. The internship begins on Monday, June 6th and ends Wednesday, August 17th, 2022.

What are we looking for in an Intern

  • Ability to discuss issues and communicate with a wide variety of individuals and groups
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to create content to deadline and with attention to detail, focusing on understanding and pitching to a target audience
  • A strategic thinker and listener with good problem-solving techniques
  • An organized team player who can manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and an interest in technology
  • Min 3.0 GPA
  • Graduation date between 2023 and 2024


Job description

  • Support Inclusive hiring practices
  • Support managers with diverse hiring panel usage
  • Support senior leadership team in reviewing and responding to feedback on inclusive hiring training
  • Assist in removing identified blockers to progress
  • Curate and help design learning experiences and path ways
  • Support DE&I training development within P&DS
  • Support creation of manager toolkit for employee development
  • Data analysis and reporting on various projects within the DE&I taskforce
  • Develop P&DS community
  • Facilitate Coffee Hours
  • Newsletter design
  • Increase community engagement
  • Assist development of video interviews of employees
  • Evaluation of new starter onboarding processes such as the Buddy Scheme and senior leadership meet-and-greet
  • Organization, creation, maintenance and linking of MS tools


As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $7,350 - $11,000. This position is not bonus or benefits eligible.
