Join the 2022 FIS University Summer Internship Program!
As a 2022 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars, and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 6, 2022 and conclude on August 12, 2022.
About the Team
The Global CIO Business Management Team facilitates and deploys large-scale programs across the enterprise. It enables the CIO leaders to make better decisions through financial management, concise reporting, and clear communications. The core functions of Business Management can be described as follows:

  • Risk Management: managing, reporting, and automating metrics, including Internal Audit, Regulatory University, and Change KPIs (key performance indicators) in both presentation and dashboard mediums, designed to empower decision making and drive outcomes across the organization.
  • Strategic Communications: cultivate an informed workforce, confident leaders, and an inspired organization through events, direct messaging, and interactive forums. Coordinated publicity encourages engagement within CIO and with larger FIS audiences. The ability to tell a story with data is an important part of communication and helps to elevate the understanding of the audience.
  • Reporting: an essential function of both Risk Management and Communication while being its own standalone function. The ability to tell a story with data and use innovative and creative designs and approaches is an important component of this area. The Reporting function enables leadership by streamlining and automating metrics, standardizing, and aligning OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and empowering leaders with clear, concise, and usable information.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Along with the communications team, develop and launch a broad initiative to drive a strategic message.
  • Leverage several electronic media to convey and reinforce the message. This may include blogs, video production, website development, and mass comms.
  • Assist in other day-to-day strategic communications, including composing messages, developing graphically enriched PowerPoint decks, and providing expertise in multi-media communications
  • Dovetail this work with related efforts underway in Risk Management and Reporting.


What You Bring

  • Rising Senior (graduating December 2022 through May 2023)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal savvy to interact with multiple departments
