HR Analytics Internship

The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for an HR Analytics Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC In this role, you will lead efforts to advance team branding standards and data sharing best practices, including our go-to-market collateral (reports, dashboards, infographics, newsletters, presentation templates, research, videos and webpages). As a member of the HR Analytics team, you will have an opportunity to influence how data and insights are shared with our stakeholders and work with the team that is passionate about improving data driven decisions. You will also work with the team on creating reports and presentations that align to key aspects of the associate talent life cycle (Hire, Develop, Reward, Retire).
What you will do
- Deliver accurate HR reports to cross-functional departments and management for analysis
- Work on cross-functional teams to understand reporting and metrics needs
- Create specifications for reports based on business needs
- Audit HR system processes and data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide and develop go-to-market collateral for end users
- Resolve level one and level two metrics system issues
- Plan and communicate system updates, configurations, and scheduled downtime
- Assist team with metrics system deployments as assigned

- Experience using content management tools, e.g., WordPress
- Knowledge of graphic layout and design

- Excellent communication and writing skills in English

- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Passion for open source and working collaboratively
- Interest working with Workday reports, Tableau dashboards
- Ability to work full-time May-August
- Currently pursuing a degree; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
- Prior Tableau development or HR or Talent analytics experience is a plus
