About the job
The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for an Enterprise Applications and System Analyst Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will work with the IT Enterprise Applications Managed Applications and Support team on supporting a strategy to manage multiple enterprise applications along with a support model.
What you will do

  • Review project business and technical requirements
  • Work with IT technical associates on new security protocols
  • Document business requirements
  • Participate in daily and weekly meetings with cross-functional teams
  • Support IT associates in developing a business model
  • Assess the impact of potential changes and solutions to mitigate negative outcomes
  • Show solid, proactive written and verbal communication skills with business and IT associates
  • Support global initiatives for Enterprise Applications, including Oracle, Workday, and revenue management


What you will bring

  • Ability to work full-time hours during summer 2022 in the location listed
  • Currently pursuing a degree; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detailed and concise written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to understand, adhere to, and promote team processes
  • Knowledge of network sign-on protocols
  • Familiarity with business modeling designs


The following are considered a plus:

  • Enterprise applications experience, including Salesforce.com (SFDC), Oracle, or Workday
  • Presentation skills
  • Understanding of computer requirements and design, flowchart design, and strategic design and planning
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
