ActiveCampaign is looking for a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Intern to join us this summer. During this 12-week assignment (with the possibility of renewing for a second 12-week term), our intern will partner with our DEI Director and Program Manager to assist with research, analysis, and planning of global cultural community programs and projects. They will work closely with our active community of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and support our goals to cultivate a culture of inclusion through our programs and events.

What your day could consist of:

  • Work closely with our Employee Resource Groups and DEI Program Manager to coordinate community engagement and leadership development opportunities
  • Plan and manage logistics for large-scale, global, cultural heritage and inclusion-centered events
  • Partner with the DEI Program Manager to develop and analyze metrics to iterate on DEI and ERG events to ensure continued focus and growth around core priorities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the various lines of business through meetings and self-directed project work
  • Conduct research on practices, programs and trends in the DEI space – and provide summaries and recommendations to the DEI team on topics such as the allyship, ERG management, and more
  • Learn fundamentals of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work within a global company

What is needed:

  • Studying Business or Human Resources; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion preferred, other fields of study or experiences may be considered
  • Previous experience or coursework with an emphasis in Human Resources; classes in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion preferred
  • Demonstrated community involvement/volunteerism preferred
  • Demonstrated written communication skills preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical skills preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and team-oriented thinking preferred
  • Able to commit to a 12-week, virtual internship experience
