Position:

As a Digital Integration Intern, you will work on our Digital Technology Integrations team. The integrations team members at Signet Digital help design, build, and test various integration workflows between internal and external systems.

You will take part in all aspects of agile software development including gathering requirements, design, build, test, with appropriate documentation.

Participate in:

• Build ETL (extract, transform, load) processes, develop data pipeline, data modeling and testing, while maintaining and growing existing multi-technology integration capabilities
• Design and development of data transformation objects, technical specifications and transformation rules that meets Signet standards
• Collaborate with business partners to transform business requirements into environment specific ETL and data validation designs
• Produce scalable and flexible, high-quality integrations that satisfies both the functional and non-functional requirements
• Supports existing data integration enhancements and jobs in an ongoing basis
• Document the requirements of the system and manage its development
• Address data related problems regarding systems integration, compatibility, and multiple-platform integration
• Providing technical support to mission critical environments, via data gathering, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Attend scrum daily standup meetings
• Work with onsite and offshore delivery teams across the globe

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled and pursing a degree in computer science, information technology or related field
• Minimum overall 3.0 GPA
• Experience with Java
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Team player with ability to interface and build relationships at all levels
• Strong communication skills, curiosity, and collaborative nature
• Analytical and data visualization skills a plus

Work Environment:

• Position is open to locations of Akron, OH, Dallas, TX or remote opportunity
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
