About This Job

This intern will aid data scientists on product line projects for the Enterprise. Duties of this position include the development of queries, statistical analysis, presentation of results for consumer behavior, profitability, and campaigns. The intern also assists with special projects within the Data Analytics team.

Essential Functions

• Write efficient data queries to varied types of product and customer analysis.
• Analyze, update, and compile customer behavior and profitability analysis reports.
• Compile data analysis and reporting for data scientists.
• Compile campaign analysis for Consumer Credit marketing campaigns.
• Present data analysis summary results to team members and business line leadership.
• Gain experience in SQL, R and/or Python
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• A major in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field
• Intern will gain experience in R, Python and/or SQL. Some experience in a programming language preferred.
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Education & Experience

• A major in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field with 1-2 years coursework completed
