At Mailchimp, our internship program focuses on giving our interns opportunities to get hands-on experience and contribute to real-world business projects alongside our full-time peeps. Over the years, we've had the privilege to bring on some of the brightest, most talented students from around the world to help grow our brand. Mailchimp designed our 12 week paid internship program to help students grow their skillset, create lasting connections, and do meaningful work. Along with helping our interns grow professionally, we're also committed to their personal growth and provide various soft skill classes while also hosting fun events along the way!

Our program is open to students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, bootcamp, and online courses - all candidates must be enrolled through the duration of the program.

Data Delivery is a highly functional distributed team, supporting the general business analyst community in Mailchimp to make informed business decisions through data. We reliably surface a wide variety of data sources, by building out and maintaining scalable data pipelines, into our data warehouse.

What you’ll do:

• Assist internal Mailchimp teams in collecting and storing data by building pipelines into our data warehouse
• Collaborate with the Data Delivery team and partners throughout the company to gather requirements, and work through implementation solutions
• Learn data engineering skills and best practices, such as: data modeling, ETL, scalability, security, and privacy

We’re looking for someone who:

• Loves to learn new things
• Asks questions and digs deep to find the answers, but also asks for help when needed
• Collaborates well with others to discover and build out the best solution
• Knowing Python is a plus, but any similar programming language is fine
